Board computer no function

  • Add to quote

I recently purchased a 2008 Astra design 1.6 and asked the dealer if they could enable the trip computer etc. When I collected the car he said they tried and couldnt do it. Is there anyone who knows if it can be done or can do it as I'd really like to see what we are using. The BC button is on the dash and steering wheel but when pressed the display shows no function.

hi if i am right the the display in your car is on two lines and for the board computer to work the car needs a three line display ian

It is a 3 line display time and temp at top, date at bottom and middle shows radio/mp3 info Steve

I can't see any reason why it can't be done but unfortunately some dealers don't have a clue how to enable it. Somewhere is the instructions on what to tell them so ill have a look for that in a bit.

Hi, sorry for re-eting such an old thread but I need some help here. I,ve got CID + CD70 NAVI and today after visiting useless pentagon I have switched my self BC on. Index code chamged from 008 to 009. It is working but only when i press the bc button. The 4th tab with range and instantenous consumtion is missing. What went wrong? Can you help me ffigure thos out? KR Sly
