Westin W6 Travel Popping Rod

When fishing at a remote tropical destination no failures are allowed. Westin's rod designers knew this, when they were asked them to make a range of rods that will make even the best reels break, if the rods are pushed to the max!

Westin W6 Popping, is designed for casting poppers and wrestling with rooster fish, GT's, cubera snappers and all other tough tropical species.

The rod features saltwater super grade EVA handles, Fuji® DPS reel seat and Fuji® SiC guides. These rods will wrestle any monster fish and if they fit into your luggage, you will avoid airline restrictions and all the "following-the-rules-monsters" waiting at the check in counter.

These great qualities are combined in the fast blank of the W6 Vertical Jigging-T and are the most important ingredients when it comes to vertical fishing for predators like zander, big perch and pike. And it is exactly for this use that the W6 Vertical Jigging baitcasting rod has been developed. The secret to its great performance lies in the components: the best Torayca® high performance carbon available on the market, combined with first-class workmanship and built with the most modern rod components from Fuji and PacBay.

The blank is not only very light, powerful and sensitive, it is also perfectly balanced, giving you absolute control over your lures and hours of fatigue-free fishing.
