Replacement lock for Heritage-style tour pack

Looking for ideas for how to replace the lock or get keys for a Heritage-style tour pack. I bought a used 2019 Heritage Classic 114 (traded in my '08 Heritage Classic because I love the improved balance of the 2018 and newer models), and it came with a tour pack, which is great. It even has a lock. But, it did not come with any keys for the tour pack! When the dealership took that bike in on trade, the original owner didn't have the keys anymore. Great. I asked at my local dealer, and they said that there is a part number for a replacement lock set for that tour pack which comes with the full lock and two keys. It's part number 90300151. However, that part has been "obsoleted"! So they can't order it. What's strange is, they still sell the tour pack. But they've discontinued the replacement lock for it??? That seems very odd. I scoured the web to the best of my ability and couldn't find anyone selling that exact part. However, there are tons of aftermarket replacement locks for various other kinds of luggage, and some look awfully similar. Take this one from eBay for example. But before I go buying a "not quite right but maybe I can make it work" solution, I wanted to check if anyone knows a better way. Could my dealer have been wrong and there's still a way to order a replacement lock for that tour pack? Could the keys all be the same (I sure hope not, but could be) and could there be a way just to get keys for it? Is there some other option I'm not even thinking of? Thanks in advance, folks! Disclaimer: this is my first post here, I just signed up, so please bear with me if this is the wrong area to post this in. I didn't see any parts-specific areas where luggage seemed to fit, and wasn't sure if the Softail area made sense, so I figured the newbies area was a safe bet. Let me know if I should move this somewhere else or add more/missing information! Update: Well, I had to edit my original draft of this post, since apparently I can't add links. I had hoped to link to the specific tour pack I'm referring to and to the lock I found on eBay that I mentioned. If there's a way for me to share links, let me know and I'll add them!

Drive to a old locksmith they will hook you right up. I would also try some other dealers sounds like yours wasnt putting any time into it.  

While the part may have been discontinued, did the dealer do a parts search in the dealer base? Sometimes, other dealers may still have inventory..however, sometimes the person looking up the number may have abandoned ship once the inquiry came back as obsolete! I know it seems obvious, however, after 25 years in Automotive Management, I speak from first hand experience. As the other poster suggested, you may have better luck with a good locksmith. Or even checking with some of the other large aftermarket companies....like AdvanBlack. If Harley is no longer stocking the part, they must be sourcing it from somewhere....I can't see HD actually manufacturing enough to match the TP's on a 1 to 1 basis....infact, it's possible that they don't manufacture any part of the Tourpak and out source everything.....especially, if it's not typically a big seller for them.....Which is the reason they may made the part obsolete. A few direct responses: @Whizpering John - While the name of those parts sounds right, looking at the pictures, they seem to be something completely different. Shame. But thank you anyways! @tekslk - Great idea! I hadn't even thought of that. Instead of trying to replace the lock, just see if someone has, or can cut, a key for it! I think I'll probably start with that. @BramptonRob1958 - The guy at the parts department at my local dealer spent probably 20 mins going through parts databases, calling other dealerships, and then getting on the phone with someone (not sure who, he just said "time to check with the experts"). He definitely seemed to do his due diligence. Still, it wouldn't hurt at all for me to try calling some other dealerships around and asking. Maybe I'll get lucky! And I'd never heard of AdvanBlack, so I'll check that out. Thanks for the ideas!  

Harley did not make that tour-pak. While I agree that a local lock smith could likely fabricate a key for it in about five minutes, I also think you could reach out to the actual company that made the item. (It may be Viking, not sure) They should be able to help you.

Have you tried the barrel key that operates your ignition? Some of those locks will open with about any key. If that doesn’t work, I think the quickest and easiest (and cheapest) thing would be to visit a local locksmith.  

Unfortunately, there is no ignition key on this bike (it's purely via the fob or a PIN code), and the key for my fork lock and saddlebags isn't a barrel style lock, it's a single shaft, like in this listing . The only barrel lock on the bike is the one on the tour pack.

I found it on AMAZON (search) 2020 Harley tour pack trunk lock It' looks the same except you'll have to switch the latch, Use your old latch Sorry no link but I'm sure you can look it up  

Sure enough. Looks a lot like the one I found on eBay. Only subtle difference seems to be that the lock on the Amazon listing turns from the 10 o'clock position to 12 o'clock, where the one on my tour pack and on eBay turn from 10 o'clock to 2 o'clock. I wonder if that would mean that the Amazon one wouldn't turn far enough to fully engage (or disengage) the lock? But for $10, it'd be easy enough to get it and find out. Cheaper than a trip to a locksmith, too, for that matter.  

Resolved! I got the replacement lock from eBay that I thought might possibly work, and it works perfectly. It's a hair (1/32"?) shorter in length and a hair (1/64"?) narrower in diameter than the original, but with a short strip of electrical tape stretched thin and wrapped around it, it fits like a glove. I now have a working tour pack lock, complete with three keys and a spare lock set in case I need it in the future. Big thanks to everyone who helped out on this. Matching Key for Tour Pack

Fellas, I recently purchased an Advanblack razor tour pack which came with a round OEM style lock and key. I’d like to get it re-keyed to match the locks on my bags and ignition. I searched the forum and couldnt find much except some broken links from a 2010 discussion. I would think HD can do it? Or can a locksmith duplicate the round key and match the lock tumbler?  

The dealer can certainly order you a lock keyed to match the rest of the bike. You may need your ID and proof of ownership of the bike for lock/key orders though, depends how picky the particular dealer is. Theyll also need to look up the key number from your VIN, or they can get it off the key itself if you have one along.  

The above answer by OZ is correct. Call your Dealership and ask what their policy is to avoid any confusion. I had no issues ordering TP keys and locks to match the last few bikes we’ve owned.  

Same here. Parts guy grabbed the number off the key (just slide the plastic cover up a little), and put it on order. Lock was about $26, and came with 2 keys.  

I did the same as above, no issues at dealer Nice having 1 key to do it all

You also get two keys with the new lock set. Always a plus having extra keys.  

When I went got my new ignition keys dealer quoted me 6-8 weeks. but it came in a little over 1 week. Hopefully you will be as lucky.  

Just to be clear, all you guys had this done for aftermarket(Advanblack) packs?
