So much to love about this bag but it's not 100% for me. What would make it perfect is increasing the width to accommodate a 15" laptop in the protected pocket, adding D-rings to the side for a crossbody strap, and/or increasing the handle drop size. I can fit over my shoulder as long as I'm wearing a thin top. Add a blazer or any type of outwear and it is useless as a shoulder bag.

It’s perfect for me. I love the spot for my glass water bottle and the outside pocket is perfect for my phone. The straps are the perfect length and I love the tan color. The top zipper is great to keep everything inside and secure. I highly recommend this tote.

I ordered this for travel for work and it’s fantastic! The tote is large and fits all laptop and many other items. The color was not what I expected as it is more tan than ivory. You will have to lay it on its side to fit it under the seats on Southwest planes but it has a zipper to close it. Love that it fits right on the handle of my Monos suitcase.

This is my 3rd Monos bag, and they never disappoint. Their vegan leather is phenomenal, super durable and stain resistant. I’ve had the Metro Sling in Ivory for over a year, and it still looks brand new. This tote is the perfect size for my corporate office, holding 2 separate laptops and an assortment of other items. It also has great pockets and pouches.

3. Is Italian leather the best? And what is vegetable tanning?

Unlike other methods of leather tanning which rely on heavy use of chemicals, Italian leather artisans use only natural plant-based extracts during manufacturing. Raw hides undergo treatment in large wooden drums where they are cleansed of salts and impurities. They are then tanned with vegetable extracts and natural tannins, extracted from trees and logs that give the leather its unique characteristics. The leather is then dried to remove excess moisture before it can be crafted into the goods you know and love.

The use of natural ingredients in the vegetable tanning process has three main benefits: The process results in leather that is built to last. It is softer, more flexible, and more durable than other leathers on the market. The leather has a distinct, timeless appearance. Because it relies on natural ingredients and the care of the leather artisans, no two hides look exactly alike. The marks that you find on the leather are not imperfections but unique features of each batch of leather made. It is super easy to care for. Simply wipe the surface with a damp cloth and dry it with a clean cloth. Because goods made of Italian leather last longer and look nicer than other leather goods you may buy, Italian leather may actually be worth the investment. But, many Italian leather products command premium prices, just because they are made in Italy. It doesn’t take long to find Italian leather bags that can cost you many hundreds or even thousands of dollars.

It’s huge and has tons of pockets for organization. I love that I can remove the inner pocket and just use the shell or transfer the contents to another bag if I wanted. I use it as a work bag and love how durable it is. This bag would be great for business travel or a weekend away!

It fits everything I need. My files, laptop, iPad, charging cords, pens, planner, notebook, etc. There are enough pockets to keep everything organized. The shoulder strap does not hurt even with a full tote. And I absolutely love the color, I ordered mine in Espresso.

I bought this for my daughter for her first briefcase. Color came exactly as pictured and she glowed with excitement over all the compartments. First work flight and she loved using the handy sleeve to slide it onto her carryon handle so it stacked while rolling through the airport, keeping it secure and unburdening her shoulder. It’s a great get!

I am a big Calpak fan and the Haven Laptop Tote Bag is perfect! Fits everything you need for work and works for travel. Unfortunately, I had a less than stellar experience with shipping. My initial order arrived and the handles had been taped together and when the tape was removed, it removed the finish. Calpak quickly sent a replacement bag. However, when the replacement bag arrived it had the same defect with finish getting removed on the handles. Calpak sent a third bag - which thankfully had the small handles wrapped in foam so they were protected during transport and looked great. Bag #3, however, was missing the shoulder strap. I am still a Calpak fan, but I feel like the shipping experience has not matched the quality of the bag. I hope this can improved upon in the future.

Travelpro’s New VersaPack+ Luggage Solved My Recent Packing Dilemma

My trusty hard-side suitcases didn’t have enough storage for everything I needed to bring. Enter the soft-side Carry-On Spinner and the travel tote bag.

A couple of weeks ago, my fiancé and I were embarking on our first-ever trip to Montreal as a little end-of-summer getaway . To get there, we took a train upstate to meet a couple of our friends, then drove with them the rest of the way. Because of this (and the fact that it was a four-day trip), I knew it would not be wise to bring my large hardside luggage. But, my smaller, carry-on hardside also didn’t have as much room as I wanted. I was debating bringing my bulky duffel bag with it when a duo of luggage from Travelpro’s new VersaPack+ line showed up at my desk.

Travelpro launched its latest line of luggage, the VersaPack+, at the beginning of August. This collection includes soft-side checked luggage in two sizes and soft-side carry-on suitcases in two sizes. This line also features the VersaPack+ Lightweight Underseat Travel Tote Bag, which makes for a nice addition to the luggage, and all of these items are available in four colors on Amazon. The brand’s website offers sets and limited-edition colorways, so you can get VersaPack+ checked and carry-on suitcases together.

If you’ve been wanting to get a soft-side suitcase or are looking to get one as a gift , the VersaPack+ collection is a great option. It easily solved my packing dilemma. The Carry-On Spinner Suitcase has a deep well that I filled with all of my jeans, light sweaters, pajamas, and other clothes. It also includes a mesh compartment on the other side where I stored socks and such. Plus, it came with a unit of small compartments that you can attach to the inside of the suitcase or leave out. I attached mine for the trip, just in case I needed a little more storage for souvenirs.

Perhaps the feature I liked the most about the suitcase, though, is its lock function. On the side, there is a three-number code you can use to lock your luggage. But what I really liked is that you inserted the zippers to lock it, so no one could open the main section of the suitcase. I didn’t feel the need to actually set the lock on this trip (I would utilize that feature if I were flying , though), but I liked being able to store the zippers in the slots on the side and easily eject them with the push of a button. With so many zippers on suitcases, this function made it quick and easy to locate the main zippers every time. It’s a small thing, but I found it to be a very nice touch.

That said, if there’s only one thing you get from this collection, let it be the VersaPack+ Lightweight Underseat Travel Tote Bag . This is what truly resolved my minor packing crisis ahead of my trip. This tote bag is just the right size — not too big, not too small. I was able to store my toiletry bag, makeup bag, hair straightener, and an extra pair of shoes I never ended up wearing — and I still had a little room left for souvenirs. It held more than I expected but wasn’t cumbersome or uncomfortable to carry. I often slid the back loop over my suitcase handle so I could easily carry them together, though. My only gripe is that I wish the tote could lock onto the suitcase so I could pull the two as a unit together up a flight of stairs.

Overall, I loved using my new VersaPack+ carry-on suitcase and tote bag. The two held everything I needed and a little more, were compact enough to store on an overhead rack on a train and then in a car trunk, and housed plenty of compartments for easy organization. Plus, the Elemental Blue color I got my pieces in is so beautiful. As much as I love traveling for the adventure, culture, and exploration vibes, I’m also excited for my upcoming trips because it means I get to break out this stunning duo again.
