Came just for the gas, which was less expensive than other places. It was a slow pump, and took time filling up the truck. Bathrooms inside were clean, with signs advocating handwashing to stop the spread of CoVid. The towel dispenser was empty, and only one hand dryer was available for three of us. We were patient. Store looked clean and bright. Staff seemed friendly.
Mask use enforced as is social distancing.
The employees are always friendly but don't waste your money on the breakfast burritos. You're essentially paying $4 for potatoes and tortilla. There is rarely enough chile, cheese, or meat to even taste and I wish I was exaggerating. The fact that they label them green chile bacon is laughable. I don't even think I tasted any bacon today at all, and that tracks with the last several times I've stopped. They are OBVIOUSLY cutting costs by not including more expensive items and overloading it with potatoes. They didn't used to be this way. It's a waste of money
Me and my mom loved the Pueblo taco. It was very delicious. The red Chile was hot and delicious. It wasn't can Chile. I hate it when you go eat somewhere and it's can Chile. The server was very friendly and they seem to have a big menu. The only bad thing is they close by 2.
Great place, store and bathroom were clean, and very friendly employees. We highly recommend this establishment.
This was the first time back since COVID , boy have I missed the Indian Tacos. We ordered promptly as the service was excellent our server has been working there for like 7 years he's awesome fast and efficient. Our tacos came out hot and delicious, the Red Chile was to die for . Thank you to to San Felipe for such a wonderful day
Good food, good service, good hours, clean. I recommend Fried chicken w waffle! Green Chili Stew
Great food and never have to wait in line. We love their patty melt sandwich and fries. Downside - they close early so always call first.
Would have given 5, but this place is still requiring mask to be worn, while the rest of the country is demasking, must not want repeat customers, heard many complaints about it, food is good prices are within reason for a truck stop, the people are great, the parking is adequate and close to Santa he and or albq. The people are this places best feature.
I stopped in real quick this afternoon on the way home to grab a quick bite. I was disappointed that the travel center did not have many hot meal selections so I walked into the restaurant. I ordered the special which looked like something they could whip up real quick and I could take out. It was a shrimp basket. The shrimp tasted awful, as if the oil or grease was rancid. Something very off.
I ordered a club sandwich because of the menu advertised a picture with a generous amount of ham and turkey and cheese and bacon. But when I finally got my sandwich, I was very disappointed! There was only 1 thin slice, of ham and 1 thin slice of turkey and some bacon. I wanted to return it but did not because I was very hungry. I talked to the cashier when she asked me how everything was. I told her "That was the worst club sandwich I have ever had!" She told me it was because the cook was in training and the waitress was in training. When I got home I called the Manager and I told him. He was not apologetic and he insisted that they've never made a club sandwich with more than 1 slice of turkey and ham. Look at what you are advertising in your menu. He said I know we have to change our menu. I am so mad now. I have been cheated. No one cares of my complaint. I need someone to help me with this. HELP!!
This is their menu photo but there was only 1 thin slice of turkey n ham. This is false advertising!
