Jakarta, We Are Coming

Jakarta, 3 May 2023 – Honne the English electronic music duo is continuing their Asia Tour 2023 and is performing in Jakarta on 7 July, 2023 at Beach City Internation Stadium Ancol.

Honne’s debut studio album, Warm on a Cold Night, their second album, Love Me/Love Me Not, their mixtape No Song Without You, and their third album, Let’s Just Say the World Ended a Week from Now, What Would You Do? have achieved gold, platinum and multiplatinum certifications in multiple countries around the world. The Asia tour runs will start in Taipei for 2 sold out nights, then to a 10,000 capacity sold out show in Manila, Davao, Cebu, Hong kong, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. Then adding another show to Jakarta for their biggest anticipated fans in South East Asia.

Music Career

Clutterbuck and Hatcher met while at university and started making music together under the name of Honne—a Japanese word (本音) meaning "true feelings"—in late 2014. Honne's musical style has been described as "futuristic soul destined to re-invent babymaking music" by The Telegraph. The band released their debut single "Warm on a Cold Night" in September 2014 via Super Recordings. They followed up with their second EP All in the Value in November 2014, and made their live debut at the Sebright Arms on the same day.

Following the release of Coastal Love on 1 May, the band played a sold out headline gig at The Laundry in London and performed on the  BBC Introducing  stage at  BBC   Radio 1's Big Weekend  2015 in Norwich.

On 22 July 2016, Honne released their first full-length album, Warm on a Cold Night. The album cover features an image taken on the night of one of their London shows. [10]  The album achieved huge popularity and success internationally, particularly in Asia, where the album has gone multi-platinum in South Korea, Thailand and Indonesia.

The album continued to build on their success, again going multi-platinum or gold in multiple territories.

On 3 July 2020, during the global coronavirus pandemic, Honne released the mixtape No Song Without You.

Honne released their third studio album,  Let's Just Say the World Ended a Week from Now, What Would You Do? , on 22 October 2021. [16]  Singles from the album include features from Khalid, Griff, Niki, Pink Sweats, and Sofía Valdés. Other non-featuring collaborators on the album include Sam Smith and Arlo Parks.

HONNE are heading back to Asia this year.

On 13 February, the ' Warm On A Cold Night' act revealed that they will be returning to the region this May. The duo, comprising Andy Clutterbuck and James Hatcher , is all set to take over the Philippines with three shows across the country – Manila, Cebu, and Davao, plus stops in Hong Kong, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, and Taipei.

Singer-songwriter and frequent collaborator, BEKA , will be joining the duo on tour.

Pre-sale tickets go on sale via Ticketnet (Manila) and SM Tickets (Cebu and Davao) from 14 February, 10 AM PHT until 16 February, 11:59 PM PHT . General sales open on 17 February, 10 AM PHT.

Clockenflap Presents are hosting HONNE and their live band for a performance at the KITEC Star Hall on 16 May. Pre-sale starts 14 February, 10 AM HKT, while general sales are happening on 17 February, 10 AM HKT.

HONNE return to Singapore on 18 May for a one-night-only performance at the Star Theatre. Tickets are priced at SGD 358 (VIP), SGD 128, SGD 108, SGD 88, and SGD 78. Honne announce Asia tour with stops in Manila, Singapore, and Kuala Lumpur

The duo released their third studio album ‘LET’S JUST SAY THE WORLD ENDED A WEEK FROM NOW, WHAT WOULD YOU DO?’ in October last year

Alt pop duo Honne have announced their 2023 Asia tour, which will take them to Taiwan, the Philippines, Singapore and Malaysia this May.

Honne will embark on a six-stop Asia tour this May beginning with a concert at the Zepp concert hall in Taipei, Taiwan this May 6. The duo will then head to the Philippines for a run of shows in three different cities, hitting Manila’s Araneta Coliseum on May 10 before heading to Davao for a concert at the Usep Gymnasium & Cultural Centre on May 12.

Their last show in the Philippines on this run will be held at the Waterfront Hotel Ballroom in Cebu on May 14. Honne will then travel to Singapore to hold a concert at the Star Theatre on May 18 before capping their Asia tour at Zepp concert hall in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on May 21.

Local pre-sales are set to begin this February 14 to 16, with general sales opening on February 17. Ticketing details for all tour dates can be found at organiser AEG Presents’ website .

In a statement, the band said of their Asia tour, “South East Asia is our second home. We love visiting and playing shows there so so much. That’s why we are incredibly excited to announce our May 2023 Asia tour. It’s been too long so this will be a really special one. Loads of music you’ve not heard live yet and obviously your old favourites too 🙂 Can’t wait to see you soon. Andy & James xx.”

The duo released their third studio album ‘LET’S JUST SAY THE WORLD ENDED A WEEK FROM NOW, WHAT WOULD YOU DO?’ on October 22 just prior to their performance at River Fest, having released four singles in ‘What Would You Do’ featuring Pink Sweat$, ‘IDGAF About Pain’, ‘Now I’m Alone’ with Sofia Valdes, and ‘Coming Home’ with Indonesian singer-songwriter  NIKI . It was their second such collaboration with NIKI, having released the brief track ‘iloveyoumorethanicansay’ together in 2021.

Your beloved alt pop duo, HONNE, are coming home after 4 years! The  MAY 2023 ASIA TOUR  Singapore show will take place on Thursday, May 18 at the Star Theatre. As part of their Asia Tour, fans will be able to catch a glimpse of their favorite duo in Taipei, Manila, Davao, Cebu, Singapore as well as Kuala Lumpur.

• Any change in policies will be updated in accordance with the Government guidelines as the announcements are made.

Admission Rules:

• Admission to show/venue by full ticket only. Printed/electronic tickets must be produced for admission.
• There will be no admission for infants in arms and children below 6 years old.
• Individuals aged 6 years old and above will be required to purchase a ticket for admission.
• No photography and videography is allowed.
• No outside food and beverage are allowed into the venue.

Exchange and Refund Policy:

• The Organiser/Venue Owner reserves the right without refund or compensation to refuse admission/evict any person(s) whose conduct is disorderly or inappropriate or who poses a threat to security, or to the enjoyment of the Event by others.
