The Disco Biscuits Deliver First Installment of Summer 2023 Tour Dates

The Disco Biscuits have delivered the first installment of summer tour dates. The eight-stop run is scheduled to begin on June 7 at The Winderjammer in Isle of Palms, S.C., before continuing through the Southeastern U.S. and eventually up the Atlantic coastline. 

Following the ensemble’s initial night on stage, they will continue their tour with a performance at the Lincoln Theater in Raleigh, N.C., before an ensuing gig at Richmond, Va.’s The National on June 9. Next, they’ll hop up to Harrisburg, Pa., where they’ll jam on Southside Stage. 

After a few nights off, The Disco Biscuits will resume their run on June 14 with a show at The Queen in Wilmington, Del. Then, the following evening, they’ll take on  Count Basie Center in Red Bank, N.J., prior to the final dates of their summer stand, two consecutive nights at Mulcahy’s in Wantagh, N.Y., on June 16 and 17. 

The newly announced stream of summer performances will occur after The Disco Biscuits return from their Trance Atlantic concert series in Iceland, slated to occur from May 20 through 22. Read more here .

The Disco Biscuits Drop ‘Live From Austin, TX’, First Official Live Release In 6 Years [Listen]

The Disco Biscuits have blessed fans with a new live album, Live From Austin, TX , the band’s first official live release since 2017.

Recorded at Austin’s Empire Garage on September 16th, 2023, the new live album was captured during the Disco Biscuits’ recent fall tour and mixed and mastered by sound engineer Rich Steele .

“We took a listen back to some of our favorite shows from this year, and this one continued to stand out,” said keyboardist Aron Magner . “We feel like it has everything we want a 2023 Biscuits show to be: a super strong standalone opener (AC2B), a few fun bustouts (Therapy, Neck Romancer), some killer versions of newer songs (APOA, Photograph, Deal, Falling, Buy The Time), and of course plenty of deep improv (Jam → I-Man, Spacebird). We hope you enjoy listening to this live recording as much as we do!”

The Biscuits are gearing up to close out a busy year with three shows over New Year’s weekend including a late-night post- Phish show at NYC’s Palladium Times Square  on December 28th and two hometown New Year’s shows at Philadelphia’s Franklin Music Hall on the 30th and 31st. The band will return to the road in 2024 for the Why We Dance Tour and recently announced the first Tractorbeam show since 2019 .
