NICKELBACK KEEPS ROLLIN’

Love 'Em or Hate 'Em- Nickelback has stayed relevant throughout the years by different means; from the memes they’ve been associated with, to the use of some of their older ‘hits’ on TikTok and more.

“Well, it’s a little-known fact that Nickelback predates the Internet. We’ve seen the whole rise of technology since we began,” said Mike Kroeger in an interview with ABC15. “It is fun, the social media element is really changing things up, and I really think that honestly its causing our audiences to skew younger.”

Ryan Peake agrees, and even finds it flattering that different generations can enjoy their music still to this day.

“No, it’s great, that’s something that… it makes us very happy that when we go to the show there’s this wide demographic of people coming to see us,” said Peake. “There’s the fans that have been there for a long time, there’s some new fans. I think that it’s really flattering that older songs of ours can still be relevant today still and people can still enjoy it,” he added.

The band is more than ready to hit the stage in the Valley after the pandemic’s previous halt on live entertainment.

“It’s been great, we’ve seen a real appetite for wanting to go out to shows, and kind of experience all the live music again which is fantastic because we were cut off for a bit. I didn’t even know if we were going to come back. Who knows how this is going to go. So, it’s great to be around everywhere and we’ve got lots of fans down here in Arizona and across the states,” said Peake.

Phoenix is the 15th stop on Nickelback's Get Rollin' Tour.

Nickelback Announces 2023 Get Rollin’ Tour

BRANTLEY GILBERT JOINS ACROSS ALL NON-FESTIVAL DATES

Plus special guest josh ross, tickets on sale starting january 27 at 10 am local at  livenation.com, tune in for nickelback’s performance on  the kelly clarkson show  january 24 at 3 pm local on nbc, nickelback’s chad kroeger and brantley gilbert join siriusxm’s the highway and the bobby bones show on january 24.

Today, acclaimed rock band  Nickelback  announced the upcoming 2023  Get Rollin’ Tour , in support of their most recent 10th studio album,  Get Rollin’ .  Produced by Live Nation, the massive run will hit 38 cities this summer, kicking off on  Monday, June 12  in  Quebec City, QC  at Videotron Centre, with stops across North America in Montreal, Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, Nashville and more before wrapping up on  Wednesday, August 30  in  Belmont Park, NY  at UBS Arena. Nickelback’s first album in five years,  Get Rollin’  was released November 18, 2022, via BMG and debuted at #2 across the Current Rock, Alternative, Hard Music and Digital Album charts. The record also landed on the ARIA Album Chart at #3 and in the Top 10 in the UK, Canada, Germany, Australia and Austria. Additionally,  Get Rollin’  debuted at #1 in Switzerland, a career first for the band. The highly acclaimed new album is a thrilling soundscape of adventure, nostalgia and emotional exploration. PHOENIX — Nickelback’s 2023 Get Rollin’ Tour will make a stop at Footprint Center on July 12.

Tickets are set to go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.

Brantley Gilbert and Josh Ross will open the show.

Nickelback released the album “Get Rollin'” last November. The Canadian group’s 10th studio album debuted at No. 2 across the Current Rock, Alternative, Hard Music and Digital Album charts.

Named the “most successful rock band of the decade” by Billboard in 2009, Nickelback is one of the most commercially viable of the past two decades.

Brantley Gilbert Joining Nickelback on the Get Rollin’ Tour — See Dates

Brantley Gilbert is once again hopping on a non-country tour. This year, he will be opening for Nickelback on their Get Rollin' Tour.

"How do you make the most unexpected and bad@$$ tour of all time ... @nickelback and your boy join forces for the summer ... That’s how," the country star writes on social media.

"I’m so stoked to announce we’ll be seeing y’all on the #getrollintour criss-crossing the country all summer long."

Nickelback will use the tour to promote their tenth studio album of the same name. The 38-date North American tour will kick off on June 12 in Quebec City, QC, and wrap on Aug. 30 in Belmont Park, N.Y. Gilbert will accompany the band on all non-festival dates. They've also tapped country up-and-comer Josh Ross to open.

It's not the first time Gilbert has been on an out-of-genre trek: Last year, he his the road with Five Finger Death Punch on a joint tour .

The "Bottoms Up" singer says he's working on another new album after releasing a project this past fall. So Help Me God arrived on Nov. 10, with several collaborations with artists like Jason Aldean, Hardy, Toby Keith and Jelly Roll.

Gilbert's current single, "Heaven by Then" is a joint effort with Blake Shelton and Vince Gill.

Diamondbacks postseason tickets to go on sale

Arizona Diamondbacks postseason tickets will go on sale Thursday with a presale beginning at 9 a.m. for dbacks.com registered  users.

The general ticket allotment will be made available on Friday at 9 a.m.

Tickets for National League Wild Card (NLWC), National League Division Series (NLDS) and National League Championship Series (NLCS) games at Chase Field will all be available for purchase.

Will the Diamondbacks be in the playoffs?

With 10 games remaining, the Diamondbacks have yet to clinch a playoff berth but are in the thick of the National League Wild Card race.

The Diamondbacks sit in the third and final wild card spot and are two games up on the Atlanta Braves through Wednesday.

The D-backs will head to Milwaukee for a four-game set against the Brewers. They then have the final six at home with a three-game series against the San Francisco Giants from Sept. 23-25 and another three-game set versus the San Diego Padres on Sept. 27-29.

When does the MLB postseason begin?

The 2024 MLB postseason will start on Oct. 1, beginning with the wild card matchups. The Division Series will start on Oct. 5.

Last season, the Arizona Diamondbacks snuck into the MLB playoffs with the final wild-card berth in the National League before embarking on a memorable run to the NL pennant and a World Series appearance.

The DBacks have announced that MLB postseason tickets for the team's home games in the 2024 MLB playoffs will go on sale this Friday, Sept. 20 at 9 a.m., with tickets available for potential National League Wild Card, National League Division Series and National League Championship Series games at Chase Field in Phoenix next month.

The 2024 MLB playoffs are set to begin on Oct. 1.

Diamondbacks Advantage Members receive priority to purchase postseason tickets.

A presale for those members began at 9 a.m. Wednesday for potential Diamondbacks wild card, division series and championship series games.

To secure early access to postseason tickets with a 2025 Advantage Membership, fans can visit dbacks.com/membership  or text/call 602-462-4600.

Another presale, this one for registered users at dbacks.com , begins Thursday at 9 a.m.

Will the Diamondbacks make the MLB playoffs?

Fans will be reimbursed for their tickets if the team fails to qualify for the postseason, and the Diamondbacks are in a fight to make the MLB postseason.

Entering Wednesday's games, Arizona and the New York Mets were in position for the final NL wild-card berths, tied at 83-68. The Atlanta Braves were two games out of the final playoff berth in the National League, at 81-70.

The DBacks face the Colorado Rockies on the road Wednesday, before playing at the Milwaukee Brewers for four games. They conclude the regular season with a 6-game homestand against the San Francisco Giants (Sept. 23-25) and San Diego Padres (Sept. 27-29).
