One of the things we love most about this particular Bazooka Golf Club set is that it will work for a beginner golfer all the way to a middle handicapper . 

The Bazooka Tour Edge 470 has a really great set makeup with a mix of fairways and hybrids that will have you set with all the golf clubs you will ever need to excel in this game.

Some may eventually add in a lob wedge , but you are undoubtedly fine to get by without it for a while. 

Shaft Options

The Bazooka Golf Clubs do not have any customizable shafts or shaft options. The woods are going to have graphite shafts, and the irons will have a stainless steel shaft in them. 

Some Bazooka sets do give you the option for graphite in the irons as well, but this will change the price slightly. You will also get a cart bag with the graphite shaft irons, with the steel shafts you get a stand bag. 

The flex is going to be a uniflex shaft that will feel very close to a regular stainless steel golf shaft. 

Look/Sound/Feel

Beginners golf clubs are known for being forgiving and relatively long , but they don’t always have a great feel. This is not the case with the Tour Edge Bazooka. These clubs feel like a traditional cavity back set of irons . If you want to hit a draw or a fade, you can. 

The clubs themselves are easy to hit, but they have a great look to them. Combine that with the styling and design of the stand bag, and you will not just be ready to golf, but you will look like a golfer!

Forgiveness

The sweet spot on the 460 cc driver is quite large. Even if you miss the center of the clubface on the driver, you will get plenty of distance with this golf club. The irons have a very low center of gravity with a wide sole that makes them easy to hit. 

Even the three and five wood have a slightly offset design to help you get the ball headed straight down the middle of the fairway. 

As far as weighting is concerned, the set is a little bit light . If you have a very fast swing speed or are extremely strong, you may want to look into a club set with even more durable stainless steel shafts than these. 

Considering this is a full club set with highly forgiving clubs, including fairway woods and hybrids , the price is pretty incredible.

You will have a hard time finding a better deal than this for the quality that you get with the Tour Edge Bazooka set.

Luckily Tour Edge also allows for custom fit golf clubs but the price point is considerably lower. Most golfers can get irons for a little less than $100 an iron which is something that we typically don’t see from custom golf clubs. 

The fact that Tour Edge golf clubs are slightly less expensive should not be something that keeps you from purchasing this brand. The lower price has nothing to do with the overall quality of the product.

Having these in our hands was the best way to give you a complete description of what they have to offer. 

What You’ll Find in the Tour Edge Golf Bazooka 470 Set

The Tour Edge Bazooka 470 is a pretty complete set. It comes with a driver, 3 wood, 5 wood, 4 hybrid, 5 hybrid, and 6-SW irons.

It also comes with a putter and a bag where you can keep all your gear. It’s either a cart bag or a stand bag, depending on the variant you buy.

You can either get an all-graphite shaft set or opt for steel shafts on the irons and graphite shafts on the driver and woods.

An all-graphite set would be a better option for beginners with slower swing speeds. Steel shafts on irons give you better performance if you have more speed.

Looks and Feel

In terms of looks, the Bazooka 470 combines black, yellow, and silver.

It has a sleek look to it, making it a good choice for golfers regardless of age. Some beginner sets can look like they are made for seniors or teens, but the 470 works for everyone.

At a glance, you’ll be able to tell it’s not a pro’s set, but the price point shows that, too!

The feel of the clubs is good. They aren’t premium TaylorMade or Callaway clubs, but Tour Edge is actually known for having a great feel in their equipment. 

You can go after the ball a bit and still get some impressive stability in the clubhead, something we didn’t really expect. The sound isn’t the best coming off the woods, but again, for the price point, it matches. 

It just has a cheaper hollow sound than something like a Titleist or Ping Driver. 

The Tour Edge Bazooka 470 is designed for golfers with heights between 5’8″ and 6’3″ tall.

Performance

This beginner-friendly set comes with everything that you need. You’ll get great distances, no matter your lie or the type of shot you’re taking. So, let’s look at the parts that make this possible.

The driver is a large 460cc clubhead with 10.5 degrees of loft. It’s got a high moment of inertia to get all the speed and distance you need. At setup, the club is just a little offset, but not enough to be awkward or unappealing. 

The technology used in the clubhead combined with the large face also works to reduce twisting and give you straighter and more powerful shots.

The Bazooka 470 comes with two hybrids, a 4 hybrid, and a 5 hybrid. This is one of the most important benefits of the set (and you’ll use them a lot!). 

They have 22 and 25-degree lofts, respectively.

Their lofts and the shallow face design result in higher accuracy and a better sound when hitting the ball.

With the Tour Edge Bazooka 470 set, you get 6 through 9 irons. They have lofts of 28, 32, 36, and 41 degrees, respectively.

The four irons come with perimeter weighting as well as a low center of gravity. Not only that, but they have deep undercuts, all of which make the irons highly forgiving.

When we tried on the course, we noticed it was easy to get the irons up in the air, and they were forgiving even out of a difficult lie. 

If you don’t consistently get center shots, the irons are a good match. It also serves you well if you’re working on increasing distance .

One of the biggest perks about the Bazooka 470 set is that it comes with two fairway woods. You don’t find that often in beginner complete sets, especially for this price.

One is 3 wood, and the other is 5 wood. Each one is set to a 15-degree loft and 19-degree loft, respectively.

The heads of these woods come with an aerodynamic design. Mix that with the shallow face design, and you get ideal shots that don’t compromise your speed—even with high lofts.

We liked the way they set up on the ground. If you use your fairway woods from the short grass, you shouldn’t have much trouble getting them up in the air and heading toward your target.

The set comes with both a sand wedge and a pitching wedge, set to 55 and 46 degrees of loft, respectively.

Similar to the irons, the wedges feature deep undercuts and larger sweet spots. So, it’s safe to say that every item in this set caters to a novice’s needs.

The sand wedge is great for short-sided green shots, but you may eventually add a lob wedge to ensure they all work together properly

To put the cherry on top, Tour Edge gives you a putter with a high moment of inertia. This helps you land your short shots effortlessly and smoothly.

It’s a modern mallet-style putter that is very stable at impact. If you are known to twist the head when you come into the ball, the Tour Edge putter can fix it for you.

As is the case with most beginner clubs, the Bazooka 470 clubs are perimeter-weighted.

They also come with cavity back irons and fairway woods with large sweet spots.

Finally, the hybrids come with extra weight to enable beginners to feel the clubhead and hit great shots, even when they’re in the rough.

I bought one of these on ebay just to check out the draw enhancing properties. I hit all of my drives with a slight fade, which is very consistent, and get good distance. With this club, I consistently played a draw, but it is still possible to work the ball right. It is not an instant fix for a slicer, but a pretty good alternative. Just check which golf course you plan to play, if most of the holes go to the right, then leave this in the car.

I just recently purchased an Bazooka F4 and find it to be great. My drives have increased in length from 220 to a straight 240+. I no longer break into a cold sweat over water and tight fairways. To start, I have major issues with hitting woods. I tend to have a slice that will make a grown man cry. Irons are a different story as I'm pretty consistant (even with the dreaded long irons). I have owned several drivers looking for one that would fit my swing as well as give me a good amount of forgiveness. I found it in the bazooka f4 380cc driver. I have gone from hitting 200-220 yard drives to 250-300 yard drives (no joke, there is that much of a difference for me). You should also know that I use a small percentage of power due to dealing with the slice for a while (too eratic) but believe I could easily reach over 300 yrds using 70% or more power. Better yet, they tend to be straight, or at least straight enough to keep me out of major trouble. All this without changing my swing. I just love this driver. My friend purchased it 1st on the recommendation of a store owner and saw immediate results. I also saw a huge difference when i borrowed it... So I purchased my own and will use it for a long time. Fact is, I do need to keep certain things in mind, like a slow take away and to keep my eyes on the ball - but thats with everything. This driver is forgiving on toe and heel shots and can really give you distance on center hits. Doesn't seem too "whippy" with the graphite shaft nor does it feel too stiff (I use reg flex). So to summarize... I'm a bad slicer with woods but this driver straightens me out with no conscious effort/change to my normal swing. It is very forgiving on mis-hits and kept me on or near the fairway 10 of my last 11 drives. It adds a ton of extra yards to my drive, bringing me to about the 300 yrd mark on my better drives - this may not be anything to some of you out there but as stated above, it really up'd my yardage. the club is an exceptional buy falling in to the $120-$180 area (as purchased by my friend and myself). Definitely give this a shot if your looking for extra distance, straighter and more forgiving shots. I gave the F4 5 stars for the extreme, positive change to my drives.

Haven't had to use and don't see why I would at this point

Closest product is the Adams FC+ driver which did help me straighten my drives but not as much as the bazooka. I also can not get as much distance from the Adams. I like it but i love the bazooka!

I used to drive the ball about 200 yards but most of the time with a slice, with this club I hit every shot straight down the fairway and because of the confidence it gives me I use more power and hit it atleast 250 yards. Now if I could just hit my irons as well as my drives my next review I'll break that 100 barrier. Best golf investment I ever made.

I'm not a good golfer...there you go its out in the open! BUT, this new driver seems to be doing wonders for my tee shots! I have a big slice problem and I seem to be having a lot easier time getting my shots in the fairway (which is tough for a hacker like me). If this can help me look at least competent on the course it was worth it! BTW a great Tee Shot makes you look good even if the rest of your game is horrid!

I SLICED OFF OF THE TEE ON A REGULAR BASIS WENT TO THE LOCAL PRO SHOP AND TRIED A NUMBER OF DIFFERENT DRIVER'S THE SALES PERSON SAID I SHOULD TRY THIS TOUR EDGE F4.(KINDA HAD MY HEART SET ON ANOTHER BRAND)HE TOLD ME TO TAKE IT IF I DID'NT LIKE IT BRING IT BACK.I TOOK IT TO THE DRIVING RANGE HIT IT LONG AND STRAIGHT 240 YARDS,BUT FELT THE TEST WOULD COME ON THE COURSE AND LOW AND BEHOLD LONG AND STRAIGHT NOW IF THE REAT OF MY GAME WOULD CATCH UP!!!!!

I got fitted for the senior flex. 230 yards in the air. The draw enhancing feature of the club works as described. My last driver produced its share of slices. The F-4 straightened out my drives. Liked it so much I bought 2 tour edge fairway woods.(49.00 each) Great clubs for the price.

These clubs are good, Although if you do not have that much a problem slicing they are probably not for you. I bought these clubs at $175.00 a piece and i am pretty happy with the results, although i do tend to hook the ball a little too often because of the non-slice technology. However, the ball does seem the come off the face very solidly. In all, i am happy with these woods.

Driver and fairway woods .

The 460cc club head is the largest size club head currently allowed by the USGA max . You may as well take advantage of the largest and most forgiving golf club head size you can. 

Additional weight placed in the heel and toe areas of the sole gives this 460cc titanium matrix driver an optimized Center of Gravity. This new perimeter weighting and the driver’s new ultra-thin face improves forgiveness dramatically on off-center hits and provides a faster and higher launch off the face.

Players will enjoy an optimized center of gravity and a relatively high launch from the driver. The driver’s head is not adjustable, but it is set at 10.5 degrees, making it a fair amount of loft for golfers still new to the game.

The driver’s shaft is 44.5″, but there are +1″ shaft lengths available.

This Tour Edge Bazooka 370 is not the longest club we’ve ever hit, but it was relatively accurate. We see this as a good choice for those needing the extra forgiveness. 

FAIRWAY WOODS #3 & #5

The oversized, low-profile stainless steel 15-degree for the #3 Fairway wood and 19-degree for the #5 fairway wood come in new shapes that feature a lower CG (center of gravity) so they are easier to hit, getting the ball quickly into the air from any lie.

In fact, we loved using them as an alternative to the driver on certain holes.

Out of the rough, the 4 hybrid or the 5 wood are forgiving enough that you won’t be penalized for having your drive land there. 

Hybrid and Irons 

Instead of two hybrids, there is only one hybrid, the #4, included in the Tour Edge 370 Complete Set. It is designed to eliminate the hard-to-hit long iron. The 370’s forgiving #4, a 24-degree hybrid features an easy-to-hit stainless steel head with a low-profile design and a deeper CG.

The new larger design for the Bazooka 370 distance-based irons (#5 – #9) are more heel and toe weighted, providing a lower Center of Gravity for amplified ball flights. These stainless steel, cavity back irons have a large undercut cavity to produce a larger sweet spot helping to increased accuracy. You can expect they offer plenty of forgiveness when hit in the center of the face. 

Do note that it is more difficult for most average to slow swing speed beginners to hit a 5 iron with ease. However, if you happen to have a little extra speed in your game, this 5-iron will likely be a club you enjoy. 

Other than the 5 iron, which requires a little extra speed, the overall performance of these Tour Edge 370 golf irons was very consistent. 

Wedge and Putter 

The sand wedge and pitching wedge in the Tour Edge Bazooka 370 set are designed to be forgiving and easy to use, making them ideal for beginners and high-handicap golfers. They promote high launch and consistent performance, but may lack the advanced spin and workability features sought by more experienced players. For those starting out or looking for a reliable and user-friendly set, these wedges are a solid choice. You might consider adding a lob wedge from another brand that offers high spin levels.

  Sand Wedge (SW) The sand wedge in the Tour Edge Bazooka 370 set is designed with a pronounced leading edge and a wide sole to make bunker shots and short approaches easier. This club provides high launch and forgiveness, which is ideal for beginners and high-handicap golfers.
