Mountain View is owned and operated by Shannon D. Munro, who’s worked as a veterinarian in Alberta for over 20 years. She is highly experience in working with all kinds of animals but specializes in dogs, cats and horses.

Our service travels to your home on your time and scehdule. We provide most of the same modern vet equipment to treat your animal with the exception of surguries. Should surgies be necessary they will be booked through one of our affiliate clinics on our end.

Booking a home appointment provides several advances to both you and your pet. Many animals can experience stress, pain or anxiety during travel which home visits can avoid. It also prevents the owners from having to wait in a crowded vet appointment room with several other animals.

Shifting his focus to home care has allowed Dr. Stephan to better serve a smaller group of clients, and provide more personalized care. Dr. Tara Morris graduated in 2015 from the University of Calgary Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (UCVM) and also holds a BSc in Biological Sciences from the U of C. Since graduation, she has worked in a thriving companion animal practice in the heart of Calgary, eventually becoming the medical director of the clinic.

There are a variety of reasons why it can be difficult to take your pet to the vet, including stress from travel, mobility changes from age, illness, or other reasons, commuting challenges, and more. Let us come to you. We work with you and your regular veterinarian to help you meet your pet’s healthcare and quality of life goals.

Acupuncture can be a helpful tool for all sorts of medical issues. Often people think of using acupuncture for decreasing pain and increasing mobility, for example in pets with arthritis. If your pet has trouble getting around, why not have us come to you? We can come to your home to assess your pet and develop a personalized acupuncture treatment plan, for both chronic and new health conditions. Acupuncture is meant to complement, not replace, your regular veterinarian’s care, and we would be pleased to be part of your pet’s healthcare team.
